Diamond Color Grades
Diamond color is the measure of a diamond's degree of
yellow or brown. Colorless is the most desired of diamond colors, with other grades
exhibiting increasing degrees of tint. So... the best color (and the most
expensive) is actually no color at all. A few, very rare diamonds
exhibit other "fancy" colors, such as purplish pink,
green, blue, intense yellow, champagne, cognac, etc.
IMPORTANT: Color is something you have to see to
understand the subtleties, so you will need to rely on a good jeweler to show you. We rated
the top internet jewelers and
created an exclusive network of the top local jewelers in
most major areas -- so you would have somewhere to turn when you need help.
