About Us
We don't sell diamonds.
Instead, we share insider secrets from our diamond experts to help you find the best
value for your money. Our online tutorials, Ask the Expert service, and links to useful sites
are all designed to help you make a difficult purchase with ease and confidence.
Diamond stores do not and cannot
pay to be rated on our site, and cannot influence the outcome of our expert opinions.
We started with 6 internet stores that passed our initial testing.
Since then, 4 of those sites have been eliminated due to poor feedback from customers.
The two online stores that remain,
Union Diamond
and Blue Nile
,
have a perfect track record of glowing testimonials
with no unresolved complaints in over 5 years. If you don't visit these sites, you are missing
the chance to see what a really good jeweler can do for you. If nothing else, you should use them as benchmarks to compare anyone else you find on your own.
We also tested 10,000 local diamond stores as well.

About the
Founder
Robert
Hensley,
President of Diamond Helpers,
has two decades of experience in the diamond and jewelry
business. He spent 12 years training more than 100 salespeople
and managing top retail jewelry stores, including one of the
most successful diamond stores in the country. In 1984, he began
specializing in loose diamonds and has been certified in diamonds
by the Gemological Institute of America since 1986. Hensley helped
pioneer the educational sales technique now copied by many of
the largest jewelry chains, and now helps dozens of the country's most successful diamond specialty stores as a sales and management consultant.
Now Robert is happy to share these hard-earned lessons and insider
secrets to help you buy intelligently and save money, save stress, and save time in your search for an
engagement ring. As Robert says: "I want to help you keep the romance in the process, and keep the fear out of it."
